          1. Start with a plan - Manage your move like any other project. Determine everything that needs to be done in order to move your office successfully, and create a budget accordingly.

          2. Keep communication open – Determine how long your phone and computer systems will be down. Then, keep your staff and customers in the loop by sending out memos to employees, customers, vendors, and suppliers.

          3. Inform employees – Keep your staff involved every step of the way. Meet with them before and after moving day to inform them of any changes in security, phone systems, policies, and procedures. After the move, get your staff oriented by doing a walk-through of the office and pointing out the location of key people and resources.
